The Challenge

ENCS Networks Inc is seeking an Operations & IT Manager who will lead and manage an in-house and outsourced team of IT professionals to power the solutions and ensure the customer and internal technology operations of different Business Units work smoothly.

Roles & Responsibilities

Operations Management
  • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions to leadership.
  • Work with the team of engineers on-site and remote in order to ensure the quality of delivery and on-time delivery of requests and tasks of customers for various projects.
  • Must be very well versed with the business workflow of managed and professional services’ environment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT services offerings including scope development, implementation planning and execution, financial budget management and forecasting, and on-going service line improvement and innovation.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing third-party service provider service delivery execution and business & commercial governance.
  • Knowledge and effective understanding of key technologies and industry/third-party services, methods, and best-practices in Enterprise technologies and Enterprise (compute, storage, data center, networks) computing services and support.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT services offerings including scope development, implementation planning and execution, financial budget management and forecasting, and on-going service line improvement and innovation.
  • Create, implement, and test IT policies and processes in the areas of IT operations, change management, user and network security, disaster recovery and business continuity, leveraging IT discipline best practices and accepted standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with multi-site enterprise network design, implementation, management, and upgrades, and acquisition integration required.

Strategic Planning & Presentation
  • Must have experience in building and managing teams as a leader. Should act as role model for all the engineers reporting to him.
  • Develop & execute marketing and business plans to ensure service delivery of the existing and new project from different business units.
  • Work with leadership and team to provide feedback, develop specific vendor relationships, advance new company initiatives and mentor new employees to enhance all aspects of the post sales strategy.
  • Must be able to develop and build processes among intra and inter department. Must be familiar with the workflow model of sales, marketing, and operations within managed services delivery model.
  • Should be able to provide roadmap for the team for their professional growth. Must be able to keep track of the progress of engineers on an individual basis and evolve them as leaders.
  • Proven track record in developing relationships with customers and vendors from a service delivery perspective, and ability to translate client business needs into solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide in-depth customer technology roadmap and collaboratively work with the inside Account Manager to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Should be able to execute the plans and enforce HR policies among the team and coordinate the needs and requirements of engineers in a process oriented hierarchical way to the engineers.
  • Implement, and publish on a monthly basis key performance metrics for IT infrastructure operations, such as network availability, critical system incident counts and help desk ticket statistics.
  • Demonstrate leadership and empowering the team.
  • Act as business liaison to IT for special projects on selected initiatives.
  • Develop and document requirements when implementing new processes and systems that affect the departments.
Account Management
  • Manage individual MSA objectives to include sales orders and billing activities to support quarterly goals.
  • Manage on-going customer account relationship to include updating account information in company systems and resolving customer satisfaction issues.
  • Work with the inside sales team to ensure that quotes are provided, and order requests are processed accurately and with the engineering team to accurately scope projects.
  • Manage past due invoice resolution with accounting to ensure proper collections.
  • Develop and maintain solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the order to cash processes and collection processes and correlate that with the timesheets and deliverables of engineer.
  • Ability to keep track of the time management of projects and ensure quality delivery to the end customers.
  • Understand each target customer’s business model, map their organization, and identify their unique technology needs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have Five or more years of experience in IT and/or IT Project Management
  • Preferred candidate will have prior experience configuring and managing advanced technology solutions from some of these technologies like Cisco, Dell/EMC, Palo Alto, AWS, Azure, GCP, HP, Citrix, FortiGate, Office365, Aruba, Oracle, Java.
  • 3 or more years of outside information technology management & sales experience (customer facing) in infrastructure, storage, cloud, network security, professional services or managed services preferred.
  • Must be very well versed and fluent with English communication.
  • On-demand travel to overseas client locations is also needed.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of frameworks and process-oriented models.
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to write professional documents.
  • Experience with Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio Etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Prior certifications in technology like CCIE, CCNP, MCSE are good to have but not mandatory.
  • PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.
